Global tech company, Yango has launched a new digital platform designed to streamline car rentals in Dubai.
Yango Drive distinguishes itself by offering a comprehensive car rental marketplace in additon to being a car rental platform. It provides a fully digital booking system, seamlessly integrated within the Yango SuperApp, enabling users to quickly select and rent a vehicle.
The platform aggregates a selection of car rental companies from Dubai and includes an extensive catalogue of 3,500 car listings. It also provides a complete service, staying in contact with customers from the time of their request until the car is returned.
Among the listings, luxury models are on offer like the Lamborghini Urus, as well as practical options such as the Toyota Camry and Nissan XTerra. With vehicles available in Economy, Standard, Business and Sports categories, Yango Drive is targeting the full spectrum of preferences and budgets, giving users the option to rent a car for either a day, or for more extended periods, spanning a month or longer.
The service has been operating in test mode for a few months and is currently available across Dubai with selected car deliveries across most emirate locations. There are plans underway to extend services to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, the firm said in a statement.
Yango opened a new global operational office in Dubai Internet City at the end of last year. The company currently has operations in over 20 countries includes its primary services such as Yango ride-hailing; Yango Delivery, a last-mile delivery solution provider; and Yango Tech, which offers proprietary technologies to help retailers transition to an e-commerce framework.
