TerraPay, a cross-border payments network, has partnered with Qatar-based fintech firm Al Fardan Exchange to advance digital cross-border remittance solutions.
The strategic collaboration will leverage TerraPay’s advanced digital payment infrastructure and Al Fardan Exchange’s established presence in Qatar, marking another milestone in the evolution of cross-border remittance solutions. By joining forces, the two entities are aiming to provide seamless, cost-effective, and efficient cross-border payments to cater to diverse customer needs.
Sudhesh Giriyan, President of Cross-Border Payments at TerraPay, said: “The partnership with Alfardan Exchange is seen as an opportunity to strengthen our market presence in Qatar and gain strategic leverage in the remittance sector.”
He added: “This collaboration will not only strengthen financial inclusivity but also enhance connectivity across multiple global corridors.”
It is the latest in a line of deals to be announced by TerraPay in recent months. In February, the payments firm partnered with Diamond Trust Bank Uganda (DTBU) to expand international money transfers. Al Fardan Exchange also recently expanded its digital wallet options in both Africa and Asia.
