UAE-based Al Fardan Exchange L.L.C has expanded its range of digital wallets and AlfaPay app services in Africa and Asia, the money transfer and currency exchange firm has announced.

Digital wallet users in Egypt will now be able to receive transactions through popular mobile wallets such as Vodafone Cash, CIB Smart Wallet, QNB, Ma7fazty, NBE Phone Cash, Etisalat Cash and Qahera Cash.

Other wallets added to AlfaPay include AirTel Money (Uganda, Niger, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia) and MTN Mobile Money (Cameroon, Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana, and Zambia).

The expansion comes within the framework of UAE Innovation Month, which is aiming to create solutions and initiatives that can help advance society. The firm, which is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of UAE, has also introduced new wallets into each of Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Jordan.
