Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced the expansion of its Direct Remit Service to Egypt as part of further upgrades to its money transfer service.

In a statement, QIB said it has collaborated with a leading Bank in Egypt to include the country within its Direct Remit network, allowing customers to transfer money by logging into the QIB Mobile App.

Upon logging in, the customer selects their desired destination and adds the intended recipient to transfer money to the beneficiary’s bank. It follows previous launches in India, Pakistan, Jordan, and the Philippines with plans to include more countries in the future, the bank said.
