Retail technology company, Pathfinder, has launched a new digital shopping platform that uses GenAI to integrate retailer rewards and offers with tailored product suggestions for enhanced personalisation.

According to the UAE-based firm, the new smartphone-based app, RetailGPT, allows retailers to harness the insights of customer data to optimise processes, customer experience and profitability. A key part of its focus is on enhancing customer experiences with features like real-time personalised interaction and streamlined operations, facilitated by conversational AI.

Unveiled at Dubai’s Food Business Forum earlier this month, where Pathfinder was the Phygital Retail Commerce Partner, RetailGPT is aiming to improve the customer experience in the retail industry including restaurants, grocery stores, and supermarkets.

Speaking on the launch, Sadique Ahmed, CEO of Pathfinder Global, said: “RetailGPT is designed to extend the physical premises of stores into the digital realm, enhancing customer engagement through its advanced AI-driven conversational capabilities,”

He added: “The technology represents a pivotal moment for the entire retail industry. RetailGPT is set to redefine the shopping experience, offering unmatched personalisation and efficiency.”
