Dutch retailer Jumbo has teamed up with Streaem to introduce a self-service platform for advertisers.

The new feature will allow brands to set up, monitor and optimise sponsored product campaigns quickly and purposefully, the company said in a statement.

Currently, advertisers can use the platform for sponsored product campaigns on Jumbo’s official website and app. The retailer said this will soon include display advertising as well as advertising on digital screens in stores.

The tool works with a relevance and auction system, for both product categories and keywords. According to the firm, brands will be able to immediately adjust marketing campaigns, whether for a product launch or brand awareness.”

The introduction of the Jumbo self-service platform builds on a range of advertising options Jumbo has offered on its platforms over the last three years.

Speaking on the announcement, Frances Franken, Commercial Director of Jumbo said: “By combining a large reach with the right customer data, we ensure that we offer our customers inspiration when they see relevant products and messages close to the moment of purchase. This makes Jumbo Retail Media an enrichment of the media mix for advertisers.”
