Adyen has partnered with UAE’s noon to enhance e-commerce payments for merchants in the region.
Through its single platform, Adyen will offer a suite of services, including point-of-sale, advanced 3D secure and risk configurations, and shopper insights, enabling noon to accelerate e-commerce innovations.
Since noon was founded in 2017, it has expanded its digital ecosystem of products and services to include noon payments, an in-house infrastructure to support their own payments needs. Last year, the e-commerce firm launched a peer-to-peer payments service for users in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This allowed shoppers to send or request money in the form of noon credits to contacts using just their mobile phone number or an email ID.
Now, by integrating Adyen’s advanced payment solutions, noon is aiming to streamline payment processes, reduce fraud, and provide valuable customer insights, leading to a more secure and efficient shopping experience.
“Our goal is to provide noon with a seamless payment platform that not only meets the current needs of merchants and customers but also anticipates future challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving digital economy,” Sander Maertens, Head of Middle East at Adyen, said.
