Payment orchestration platform, Yuno has appointed Jonathan Hall as Asia-Pacific (APAC) Head, to drive its commercial strategy and regional presence. Hall brings extensive payment expertise from companies like Rapyd, PayPal, and Hyperwallet.

In a statement, the company said the appointment marks a new era in its expansion into other markets. The company has also appointed Carol Grunberg as Director of Business Development leveraging her experience at companies like Citi, Northwestern Mutual, Ant (Alibaba Group), and Google.

To date, the payment orchestrator has facilitated transactions in multiple countries including key partnerships with InDrive and Rappi. InDrive, a taxi app where passengers and drivers negotiate fares in advance, recently shared the results of their partnership with Yuno, noting that it had achieved a 90% payment approval rate as it expanded arcoss Latin America. The collaboration aims to optimise transaction options in over 50 countries where InDrive operates.

Designed to streamline an array of payment methods, Yuno integrates fraud detection capabilities in addition to “one-click” checkout and advanced Smart Routing technology. These features have been essential to its success so far. On the back of the new appointments Yuno said it would continue to facilitate international transactionsand help companies to manage their digital financial operations more effectively.
