Wix has said it plans to launch an AI Site Generator that can create an entire website complete with text, images and business solutions within seconds.
According to the firm, the new technology will help automate the website-building, design and management process, making it more efficient for the user. It will also include a range of other AI-powered tools.
AI Site Generator enables Wix users to describe their intent before instantly generating a unique website. The tailor-made website comes with a homepage and inner pages with text, images, and business solutions such as Stores, Bookings, Restaurants and Events among others. Users can continue to customise the site and edit based on their needs with integrated AI tools.
Other features include AI Assistant Tool for Managing your Business which can suggest improvements for businesses and create individualised strategies based on analytics and site trends. AI Page and Section Creator allows users to quickly add a new page or section to a website by describing their needs before the technology generates the layout, design and text.
“We are fully committed to bringing our users fully-integrated innovations, such as the AI Site Generator, that have excellent user experiences to ultimately drive forward the next generation of website creation,” Avishai Abrahami, Co-Founder and CEO of Wix, said in a statement.
He added: “These new tools leverage the strength and dedication of our Data Science team, who have been leaders in integrating the power of AI and delivering it directly to Wix users. We’re on the edge of something truly amazing, and we will keep advancing our offerings as AI technology progresses to enable users to grow their businesses and have success with more efficiency and creativity than ever before.”
In addition to AI-powered web creation and design tools the technology allows Wix customers to create instant e-commerce product descriptions. The Product Recommendations tool can also be used to present customers with relevant products they might be interested in purchasing, the firm said.
