Merchants can download the app on an iPhone XS or later running the latest iOS version. The Viva Terminal App is also compatible with any existing bank account and includes advanced encryption and security protocols, the company said.
Apple introduced the Tap to Pay feature for UK businesses in June. Revolut and Tyl by NatWest were among the first payment platforms to offer the service to their U.K. business customers.
