Among other notable features, Union Coop’ has introduced a ‘WhatsApp for Business’ service, specifically designed to send the latest promotions to cooperative consumers.

The upgrades covered aspects of periodic inventory management and fixed assets registration, in addition to updates to its logistical and commercial operations.

According to Othman, the company has also worked on adding a “QR Code” that appears on all ‘Point Of Sale’ devices during each purchase, allowing shoppers to scan the code using their smartphone and obtain the receipt electronically without the need to print it.
