Superbank has become the first bank in Indonesia to offer digital banking service directly within the Grab app.

The integration means that Grab users and partners can open accounts, save money, and use these accounts as a direct payment method within the Grab app without having to download an additional app.

As part of the deal, Superbank users on Grab will receive 6% annual savings interest that can be withdrawn at any time, as well as Super Discount 75% offerings for GrabFood and GrabBike services.

Speaking on the deal, Tigor M. Siahaan, President Director of Superbank, said, “We are very excited to see how people can easily open accounts, save, and make payments directly through the Grab app. This feature supports our mission to transform banking in Indonesia with innovative and secure financial solutions.”

He added: “Superbank on Grab provides a more inclusive and relevant banking experience for users, enabling them to manage their finances more effectively and leverage more accessible financial services.”

The bank is also gradually offering Pinjaman Atur Sendiri(PAS) to selected Grab users. PAS is an unsecured digital loan that can be applied for within minutes, with flexible credit limits and terms, as well as transparent interest and fee information for customers.

Neneng Goenadi, Country Managing Director of Grab Indonesia, added that the collaboration is part of broader aims to make a positive impact through technological innovation and economic empowerment.
